Jude Marck S. Bagsao
Today is March 09, Friday, two more weeks to go before the second semester ends. Here at the Fisher Valley College there’s a policy that needs to follow during the examination. “No permit, no exam” policy. As a student you need to settle all your accounts especially on your tuition. The administration of the Fisher Valley College is very strict on the policy students must complete all the billings.\
End of semester is near so for all the students from different departments/courses is busy doing their individual/groups activity and projects in able to complete the requirements on their particular professor/instructor. During this period of semester, Finals is very difficult for the students because of too much pressure giving them by their professor/instructor.
For all the Graduating students I would like to greet you Congratulations because you made it. This period is their very most awaited date to come because after too many years of studying at last they will all graduate on the time destined for them. Summer is already here so for the students who will take the summer class, The Fisher Valley College is open for those students who will take the summer class.

I would like to share a new about the last 25th foundation day, during the cheering I noticed that they were a clash of the C-5 annex and Main Campus, The purple chameleon won as the overall champion it is the combination of a two courses the Education Department and Hospitality Management. Even they lose last time they all know trough themselves that they were number one…hope next year purple should defend their title.
Booming Taguig!

It is the time for Taguig City to shine. Taguig is developing and improving wherever you will look, there are ongoing projects, construction sites are everywhere and notice that Taguig is now a busy city. We can’t deny the fact that taguig is transforming.
Another good news for the people, A brand new flyover which connecting Bonifacio Global City to the northbound lane of C5 Road is now open and available. The said flyover is cost P350- 375M which constructed eight months (July 2011- February 2012). It is a joined project of FBDC a private sector and for the government Basis Conversion and Development Authority.
The said flyover is 809m with two interchange lane, the main entry and exit point of vehicles going to C5 coming from Fort Bonifacio is probably Sampaguita Bridge, connecting 26th street with C5.
According to Antonio Aquino, president of Fort Bonifacio Development Corp. (FBDC),” the main developer of Bonifacio Global City, said that the new link will help increase the value of properties in the area by improving access to these areas.”
The main benefit of the said flyover is to attract more consumers to the commercial establishments within the area, which is good for the economy of Taguig.

In 25th Foundation Anniversary of our school there are so many things that happened in 5 days of activity and one this was the Dong-A Creative Writing in the 3rd day, actually I could not expected this chance to be part of that event but our professor whose the one who organized this competition was called us during the time of volleyball game. It was fun and exciting and actually I had a headache when I heard. In 30 minutes of writing a short story the member of the Dong-A ball pen gave us their new high pen. And we are all happy because of it. That is the memorable experienced that I did in the 25th Foundation Anniversary.
Ballots Retrieval
Mary Grace Sapungay
Monday, February 20,2012- the Taguig City Hall was very secured by the alliance of Mayor Lani Cayatano due to the scheduled retrieval of ballot boxes that was filled by the former associate justice and defeated mayoral candidate Dante Tinga. She made her last-ditch effort to stop the said retrieval as she asked the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) to clarify some issues regarding the poll protest.
She reiterated her demands for inventory and technical examination of the Compact Flash (CF) cards used in the Precinct Court Optical Scan during the 2010 mayoral elections as was stated on her Extremely Urgent Motion for Clarification. She claimed that the COMELEC was failed to resolve the issue.
In February 15 resolution, the Comelec First Division which includes Commissioners Rene Sarmiento, Armando Velasco and Christian Robert Lim scheduled the recount of ballotsfrom February 20 to 23.
“This should be postponed until certain things are clarified by the poll body. The poll body should clarify if the ballot boxes will beused for recount or revision because these two are different things noting that a revision would give them a chance to scrutinize every ballot presented while a recount would mean a recounting of the votes cast during the election.” city government spokesman Dawin Icay said. He also noted that under the Comelec rules, CF cards should be used in the counting of votes and not the ballots. According to Icay, “we urge the Comelec to have an inventory of CF cards that is based on the poll body’s rules of procedure, it is only appropriate that the CF cards will be used as basis if there are questions in the counting of votes and not the ballots. He clarified that they would turn over the contested ballots to the Comolec provided that they give them a proof of their authority to retrieve the ballots.
In a phone interview, Tinga said that Cayetano’s pleading was frivolous and it was only an attempt to derailthe process. “what was to be enforced is a legitimate order of a constitutional body whose mandate is to see to it that 2010 elections was clean and the real winners should be proclaimed. He also noted that the Comelec would no longer accept related pleadings because it already declared that the retrieval of ballots are closed.
He said that that they were saddened by the sudden turn of events. The Comelc were thwarted when they came to collect the ballots on Monday morning. They were not able to retrieve the ballots because they were prevented from going into the city hall.
Otherwise, Icay noted that until 5p.m.on Monday, no one from the Comelec came to enforce its order.
